Biography
Boniface Yemba joined Marshall University in August 2018 as an Assistant Professor of International Business in the Lewis College of Business. He holds MA and PhD degrees in Economics from the University of Kansas where he graduated in May 2015. His dissertation was under the supervision of Professor William Barnett. His teaching and research are in the fields of International Economics, Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and Applied Econometrics. Prior to joining Marshall University, he worked as an instructor at Clarion University of Pennsylvania for three years. He also worked as National Deputy Coordinator at Steering Committee of Elaboration and Implementation of Poverty Reduction Strategy in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Boniface was born and raised in the DRC where he earned his BS degree in Economics and Business from the University of Kinshasa. He spends his free time with his family.
