Anyone, regardless of age, who has a primary diagnosis of Autism, Asperger's Disorder, or Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) and who lives in West Virginia should be referred for services. The diagnosis should be made by a physician, psychiatrist, or clinical psychologist.
A referral can be made by calling the Autism Training Center at 1-800-344-5115 or (304) 696-2332. The Center can only accept referrals made by parents or guardians but we welcome inquiries from others who may be interested in obtaining services for a family or individual. During the first phone contact, initial information is obtained. The family is requested to submit a copy of the diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is received, the family becomes a registered client of the Center.
