2002 COEHS Graduation Ceremony

04.22.2002
: Several years ago individual colleges began having graduation ceremonies specifically for students in their colleges, in addition to the Marshall University Commencement held in May. During these ceremonies, students can be recognized
individually rather than just being acknowledged as a member of a larger group.

The College of Education and Human Services ceremony will be held at
12:30 PM Friday, May 10, 2002 in the Don Morris Room of
the Memorial Student Center.

The 165th University Commencement will be held at
9:00 AM Saturday, May 11, 2002 at the Huntington Civic Arena.
Visit the Registrar's Web Site for complete details.

A mailing from the college office of Academic Services was sent out during the month of March. If you have not received a mailing card (sample pictured below) from the college office of Academic Services please contact Brenda Carrico-Ferguson at 304/696-2861 or via e-mail at carrico@marshall.edu. Please note that academic regalia (caps and gowns) will not be worn during this ceremony.

The COEHS ceremony lasts less than two hours and parents as well as other guests are invited to attend. In this more personal ceremony, students are called by name and actually walk across the stage to be greeted by Interim Dean Tony Williams and other members of the faculty and administration. The Outstanding Undergraduate Advising Awards will also be presented during this ceremony. A short reception will follow.

For more information about the COEHS Graduation Ceremony, please contact Brenda Carrico-Ferguson via e-mail at carrico@marshall.edu or by calling 304/696-2861.
