The College of Education and Human Services held its annual graduation ceremony honoring undergraduate students on Friday, May 10, 2002 in the Marshall University Memorial Student Center. Students from both the School of Education and the
School of Human Services were honored for their academic achievements.

Dr. Thelma Isaacs (School of Education) and Dr. R. Daniel Martin (School of Human Services) received the Outstanding Advisor in Undergraduate Education Awards.

Lea Ann Parsley, Olympic Silver Medalist at the 2002 Salt Lake Games and Marshall Alumnus was awarded the college's first Distinguished Alumni Award.
