June Harless Demonstration Site Dedicated

08.21.2001: The June Harless Demonstration Site at Kellog Elementary School was dedicated on August 20, 2001. The June Harless Demonstration Site will establish a
model of "Best Practices" for K-2 classrooms which will demonstrate the best learning environment for:

• pre-service educators located on the Marshall University campus;

• in-service educators who will observe from their schools and then replicate
  lessons with their students;

• families who need assistance in preparing their children for the K-2 years;and

• diagnostic practices for determining the best procedures for correcting
  reading difficulties.
