Farewell Reception to Honor Outgoing Dean

The College of Education and Human Services will hold a reception to honor outgoing dean, Dr. Larry Froehlich on Friday, December 7, 2001 in the Alumni Lounge of the Memorial Student Center on Marshall University's Huntington Campus. The reception will be held from 1:30 until 3:00 PM.

Dr. Froehlich has served as Executive Dean of Marshall University's College of Education and Human Services since 1997. During his tenure, the college received continuing accreditation by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and has established several centers for excellence, including the June Harless Center for Rural Educational Research and Development.

Most recently, Dr. Froehlich was responsible for the planning of the Susan Runyan Maier Distance Learning Classroom, which allows students, faculty and staff the opportunity to participate in video conferences with individuals and groups worldwide. 

Please come and join us in wishing Dr. Froehlich farewell, as he prepares for his new position at Kent State University.
