Volunteers Needed for New Teacher Project

02.22.2002: The New Teacher Project (NTP) is intended to gather input from teacher candidates and graduates about the Marshall University teacher preparation program.

Volunteers for the program will be added to an electronic mailing list and will be asked to answer, via technology, 3 to 5 questions during the following times of their career:

• Student Teaching

• Job Selection

• Beginning of first year of teaching

• During the first year of teaching

NO contact will be made with employers, friends, or students. The only responsibility is
to answer 3 to 5 questions that will arrive at various times. The College of Education and Human Services desires information on how our graduates are doing, what in the program was helpful, and what in the program should be changed or adjusted in order to have the best possible preparation.
