Vera BarinovaVera Barinova is the Teacher Lecturer for the College of Education and Human Services for the Spring Semester 2002.

Ms. Barinova, a graduate of the Vladimir State Pedagogical Institute, has taught 20 years
in the Russian educational system and is currently studying here at Marshall University for her Master's of Arts degree in Adult and Technical Education.

Ms. Barinova will share experiences of teaching in Russian schools and the similarities and differences in those schools and ours here in the United States.

Many of her experiences will yield suggestions for teacher candidates for teaching in the American educational system. She will also share pictures and stories about the culture and life in her country.
