NEW BUSINESS

·           Course Addition – LS 787 Contemporary First Amendment Issues in Education; Bobbi Nicholson provided background information; Stroebel asks if there are more current sources for the bibliography

M. Sullivan made a motion to approve the course addition pending updated bibliography; M. Harris-John second; motion passed pending updated bibliography

·           Course Change – EDF 535 Classroom Assessment (change course number to EDF 636); J. Sottile provided background information and will provide syllabus via email

P. Lucas will poll members via email for motion and approval

A motion was made to approve the course change pending submission of syllabus with updated bibliography; motion passed pending submission of syllabus with updated bibliography

·           FCS 620, FCS 622, FCS 623, FCS 625, FCS 626, FCS 671, FCS 606 (course additions and course change); Mary Mhango provided background information; courses offered on-line, new specialization in hospitality & tourism

TABLED -- It was suggested to make changes, update bibliographies, and resubmit courses to GPC in the fall
