"Land Matters" showcased artists who interpret the landscape and human interaction with land in their artwork. The exhibition contained oil, watercolor, and mixed media paintings; prints, and a site-specific installation. Approaches to the topic vary widely between the abstract and figurative. The artwork may deal with environmental issues, allude to the sublime in nature, or reveal personal connections to place.
