Current Computer Equipment and Software
Smith Hall 625 currently has 23 20" iMacs with 2Ghz Intel Core Duo processors, 2GB of RAM, and 180GB hard drives. Each computer is configured with Mac OS X Leopard, QuarkXpress, Adobe CS4 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver), Final Cut Express, Soundtrack, iWork 09, Blender, Google SketchUp and Microsoft Office. The lab also has two 18" ink jet printers, a 44" HP large format printer, an HP color laser printer, two 48 bit flatbed scanners and a 37" 1080p HD monitor. Upon request, students also have access to 10 miniDV camcorders as well two HD camcorders, a Canon XH-A1, and a Canon Vixia HV-30.
