Joe Dobbs

"Pierre Cruzatte" - Pierre Cruzatte: Fiddler in the Lewis & Clark Expedition

Joe Dobbs is available for a wide variety of performances and activities. For instance, he often lectures and performs in solo programs of Appalachian and period music in connection with Elderhostel events. And as a soloist, he regularly entertains at weddings and other special events. Also, Joe is quite actively involved in the shows of his string band, The 1937 Flood.

And of course, remember that you can catch Joe every Friday night at 9 p.m. Eastern time on West Virginia Public Radio.

And, while Joe is known primarily as a fiddler, he also regularly plays banjo, mandolin, guitar, and Irish flute in his solo performances.
