Itinerary

 Marshall vs. SMU

November 21, 2009

“Senior Day”

12:00 noon- Full Band meet in stadium for full band picture.  No one will be excused.  Be in full uniform, no helmets.  The only people that need instruments or equipment are sousaphones and color guard (flags).

12:30- report back to practice field for individual and small group pictures

12:30- Pizza and drinks will be available in Band Room (furnished by KKPsi)

2:15 p.m.- Walk-through Band D meet with instruments and music in back of Henderson Center by tennis courts

Warm-Up and prepare to play for team’s walk to stadium (Sons, Fight On, Buffalo)

Be in full uniform including helmet.  (no plume)

2:30 p.m.- Team walk to stadium (Begins in back of Henderson Center by tennis courts)

2:45 p.m.- Full Band report to practice field, get a plume, warm up etc…..

3:40 p.m.- Line up Block Band and prepare to march to stadium.

3:50 p.m.- March to stadium

4:30 p.m..- Kickoff Marshall vs. SMU

**Senior band member recognition at halftime.

8:00 p.m.- Approx.  game over

 Reminders

*PARKING- You will not be able to park in the West stadium parking lot like you do for band practice.  You will need to allow extra time to find a parking spot and walk to the practice field.

 Important Announcements and Dates

WE WILL MEET BAND ON MONDAY,  NOV. 30 AT 3:30 IN THE BAND ROOM.  THIS WILL BE A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING AND CANNOT COUNT AS YOUR “FREE DAY”.

Dec. 9- Band Banquet 6:00 p.m.- new Band Complex- Naming Ceremonies and recognition of major donors to the band complex renovation project.

 Pep Band Performance Dates- Basketball games between now and the end of the semester (auxiliaries and sideline percussion do not perform at basketball games)

**If you cannot perform at your assigned game, please get a substitute.

 Monday, Nov. 16- Band E- 6:10 report to Band Room- Women’s game vs. Seaton Hall

Tuesday, Nov. 17- Band R- 6:10 report to Band Room- Men’s game vs. Middle Tenn.

Thursday, Dec. 3- Band H- 6:10 report to Band Room- Men’s game vs. Salem

 You may not use the new practice field without permissions and reservations through Mr. Barnett.
