BSN Program Information

 

4 year Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
  • Admission deadline is January 15 of each year.
  • Admission is determined on a competitive basis

High School/First Time College Students

  • Minimum ACT composite 21  NOTE:  ACT Composite of 24 or higher is an automatic admit into the freshman class!
  • Grade Point Average of 2.5 or higher (calculated on courses completed by end of junior year.

College Students with 12 or more hours of college credit.

  • Grade Point Average of 2.5 or higher
  • Completion of a minimum of 12 college credits.

Point System Explanation

Accelerated (RN Option) Program

The Accelerated program is designed for licensed registered nurses who want to complete their bachelor of science in nursing degree.  To qualify students must:

  • be licensed registered professional nurses in West Virginia
  • have a 2.3 or higher grade point average

Applicants are reviewed for admission each semester.  While there is no set deadline for fall admission paperwork should be submitted no later than April 10 and by October 10 for spring admission.  All RN Option applicants must be admitted to Marshall University prior to applying to this program.
