Doctor of Physical Therapy arrives at COHP

The physical therapy doctorate is the first doctoral level program in the College of Health Professions.  Minimum requirements will likely include a bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75, 60 observation hours in a physical therapy department or with a community physical therapist, three letters of reference (two from previous faculty and one from a physical therapist), and pre-requistite coursework to include 8 hours biology with a lab, 8 hours of chemistry with a lab, 8 hours of physics with a lab, 3 hours statistics, 3 hours psychology, human physiology and human anatomy.
