Awards |
 Scholarships
and awards vary in value. Some are renewable. Some require information such
as a resume, essay, or letters of recommendation.
Many of our scholarships are provided through the
generosity of private donors (alumni, friends of the university,
foundations, etc.) and are administered through
the office of Financial Aid.
Scholarships are typically awarded on the basis of academic achievement
and/or financial need. Many have additional qualifications such as West Virginia residency, class standing, major, leadership, service,
etc.
