Shannon Nease

Shannon Nease is a first-year graduate student in the Communication Disorders program and an active member of CORP. Her research focus is on the iconicity of symbols, particularly in the selection of symbols for Augmentative and Alternative Communication systems. She recently attended WVSHA where she and her research partner, Bethany Phillips, presented a poster session on the iconicity of symbols. In November, Shannon will present work at ASHA on the selection of icons in adults.
