Border State Scholarship

High school non-resident seniors from the states of OH, KY,VA, PA, MD with an ACT composite score of 23 or higher (or 1060 SAT scores) and a 2.75 GPA are eligible for a Border State Scholarship. Recipients will receive a $3500 annual award. Students who remain in good academic standing and meet other program requirements will be considered for renewal of Border State Scholarship awards. (Students from Metro Counties are not eligible for the Border State Scholarship). This scholarship is only available to students in baccalaureate programs. Community College students are not eligible for participation in the program.  Contact the MU's Admissions Office, Financial Aid Office or Bursar's Office for more details.
 

Metro Tuition Rate

Students in bordering Ohio and Kentucky counties including the following receive a reduction from out of state rate.

In Ohio: Gallia, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Pike, and Scioto;
In Kentucky: Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Floyd, Greenup, Johnson, Lawrence, Martin, and Pike
