Lynda Ann Ewen 
Dr. Lynda Ann Ewen has two projects affiliated with the Center for the Study of Ethnicity and Gender in Appalachia (CSEGA). The first, Revisiting Buffalo Creek and Everything In Its Path: Deconstructing An Outsider's Stereotypes, is a critique of Kai Erikson's study of Buffalo Creek as Sociology. The second project is a new book series launched by Ohio University Press that will challenge the caricature of Appalachians as dumb, backward, and violence-prone hillbillies.
