Conductor Applicant:
As of
January 2008, individuals interested in working as a Conductor
are no longer required to graduate from the Marshall Railroad
Conductor Program. This is due to recent union agreements with
CSX designating all locations as Direct Hire. All
communication about open positions must be directed to CSX
Transportation.
As a
result, your online application with this program will be
deactivated. Of course, the process is subject to change and
if future locations are reassigned to us, you will be notified
of the change and your previous online application can be
reactivated with your consent.
We
truly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Unfortunately, your application can not be transferred
directly to the CSX applicant pool; you must re-apply with
CSX. Please see instructions below to apply for all conductor
positions with CSX:

Here
are the steps to apply for a job
1.
Go to www.csx.com.
2.
Choose
“Careers” in the top right corner of the screen.
3.
Under “External Applicants” choose: View and apply for
job
4.
At the Applicant Home page choose “View Job Postings/Apply
for Jobs”
5.
In the keyword type “Conductor” and click “search”
Once
you have applied, only applicants that closely match the
qualifications will receive an e-mail to attend an upcoming
hiring session.
