 This training program is for new underground miners and includes the following:

• Instruction in the statutory rights of miners and their representatives under the act.

• Self-rescue and respiratory devices (you have to receive this training before you can go underground).

• Entering and leaving the mine; transportation; communications.

• Introduction to the work environment.
