The Academic Skills Center, located in Marshall Community & Technical College building Room 138, is operated
by a director and a highly qualified staff of math and English instructors offering tutorial assistance to
individuals and study groups. In addition to working with teachers, students have computers and videos to
assist in building academic skills and in refreshing existing skills.
In order to use the ASC’s services, a student must register for one credit hour of an ASC course. ASC courses
are also co-requisites to the developmental math classes.
ASC operating hours during the fall and spring semesters are:
| Monday - Thursday | 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. |
| Friday | 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. |
| Saturday | 9 a.m. - 1p.m. |
| Sunday | 3p.m. - 7p.m |
Summer school hours vary.
