Kevin began his college education at Berea College in Berea, Kentucky. He entered the United States Army Reserves in 1986. After his initial active duty training at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri and Columbia, South Carolina he returned to Kentucky and completed his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree. Upon completion of his degrees he relocated to Huntington, West Virginia where he edited for a publishing company. Kevin had held foodservice positions throughout his college career with Applebee’s, Inc. He returned to the foodservice industry as Service Manager for 7 years with Chili Willi’s Mexican Cantina, Inc. in downtown Huntington. Kevin served as a co-chairperson to the West Virginia State Chili Championship which is one of Huntington’s largest festivals benefiting the Tri-State’s Ronald McDonald House. In 2001 he sought licensure from the state of WV for Life & Health Insurance. He was employed by American General Insurance. In the fall of 2001 he came to Sodexho at Marshall University where he has since been employed as the Retail Manager at the Memorial Student Center.
