Early Registration

                        Prichard Hall Room 117

Marshall University offers all enrolled students with disabilities the opportunity to sign up for classes early.

You MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED to take part in this process and you will need to clear up any obligations/holds/fines you have to the University before you can register.  MILO is not available during this time.

Some colleges require that you meet with your academic advisor to lift your hold or for academic advising.  You should check with your college to make sure you are following your college's policy for registration and meet with your advisor before you come to have your schedule stamped.

Here's the procedure:

      1. Schedule an appointment to meet with your academic advisor.

      2. Pick up a copy of the Schedule of Courses.

      3. Meet with your advisor to select classes, lift any holds and stamp your schedule, if necessary.

      4. Bring your schedule to the Disabled Student Services Office in Prichard Hall, Room 117.

      5. Take your schedule to the Registration Windows in the basement of Old Main to register for classes.

Before we can stamp your schedule your name must be on the Disabled Student Services List.  Please call or drop in the office BEFORE the registration process begins to make sure you are on the list and/or to provide any documentation necessary to get on the list.

If you have been out of school for a semester please call to get back on the list and if you change your address please report those changes to the DSS Office also.

Early Registration Dates:

  • Spring 2005 - November 4-5, 2004
  • Fall 2005 - April 7-8, 2005
