• EPA Pollution Prevention Incentives for States Grant (Region III)
  Implementation of Pollution Prevention in selected CITE courses

  • includes site visits to regional companies to assess pollution prevention needs

  GIS-based Infrastructure and Economic Development Modeling

  • includes continuation of small business assistance program

The EMI is also involved with several groups and organizations promoting environmental awareness and business development.  Some of these include:

• Pollution Prevention Roundtable

• West Virginia Conference on the Environment
  (part of the West Virginia Environmental Institute)

• West Virginia Wind Power Group

The EMI also partners with the West Virginia Small Business Ombudsman, Small Business Assistance Program (Air Quality Office), and West Virginia Pollution Prevention Services Program, in addition to Marshall University's Small Business Development Center.
