Marshall University's Environmental Management Incubator(EMI) is a clearinghouse for many kinds of environmental information. By utilizing the Incubator's resources, clients can gain access to the latest information on environmental management, policy, regulation, and technology.

If you have a specific informational need, please let contact us.

SITE VISITS

As a free service to clients, staff of Marshall University's EMI will perform an initial site visit to the client's facility upon request. The purpose of this initial visit is to familiarize EMI staff with the client's specific operations and to provide a framework for Incubator assistance with informational, training, and other environmentally-related needs.

The initial site visit will consist of a tour or walk-through of the client's facility, with particular emphasis on operations giving rise to environmental management issues, such as compliance and technology. As appropriate, EMI staff may speak with employees or management of the facility regarding environmental issues.

Following the initial site visit, EMI staff will determine potential needs of the client with respect to environmental issues, if any, and will identify specific EMI resources that may be used to help meet these needs. Incubator resources that may be identified include compliance information, permitting needs, information on pollution prevention and pollution control technology, employee or management training, or referrals for professional services.
