Writing Workshops
Tutors will design a customized
writing-related workshop for your class. Tutors are prepared to help
students at all stages of the writing process and can develop lessons on
multiple topics, including brainstorming, thesis development, paragraph
development, grammar and style, proper source use, discipline-specific
writing conventions, and peer review strategies.
To schedule a workshop, fill out the workshop request
form and email it to writing@marshall.edu. Requests should
be made at least 2 weeks in advance to allow for preparation.
Tutor Talk
A tutor will visit your class to inform
your students about Writing Center services.
