Since the Fall 2001 Marshall
University requires the electronic
submission of all theses and dissertations (ETDs).
Below are links to a suggested format
to use when composing your thesis or dissertation.
The samples are in .pdf
and required Adobe Reader to view.
These sample pages are meant only to be
general guidelines for your thesis/dissertation preparation. Your committee
may have different requirements for format, methods of citation, etc.
However, you should follow the format for the Title Page and Abstract Page.
Please, note that the preliminary page numbers on your Table of Contents
page should be in lower case Roman numerals: ii, iii, iv, etc
