You’ve probably heard of great Marshall Alumni clubs in Atlanta, Charlotte or Cincinnati…but did you know that there’s also an alumni organization in Vietnam?
Nguyen Ha Duc attended Marshall from 2004-2008, earning his MBA and HRM. For him, Marshall was a great fit and a smart decision. He is now the head of the Marshall University club in Vietnam as well as the Secretariat of Strategic Program Steering Committee Office for Vietnam National University Hanoi.
“Marshall allowed me to experience the advanced education system of the USA and understand how that system is running and can be applied to the situations of Vietnam,” Duc said. “That knowledge and understanding gave me the confidence to develop and operate the English-teaching International Programs.
Ha says that Marshall and the Tri-state area will always be a part of him. He fondly recalls homecoming football games and the honor of commencement day.
“I like everything about Marshall and the Tri-state,” Duc said. “What I remember most is the people of Huntington and the professors and staff at Marshall. They have helped me a lot during my time in the United States and gave me the unforgettable things about American culture and people.”
