The geology capstone experience, classes GLY 491 & GLY 492, is to give students experience doing research or project-related work. The geology capstone requirement may be fulfilled by one of three ways: completing a senior thesis, doing an internship, or attending a field camp. A student's capstone should be completed one whole semester before that student plans to graduate to prevent a delay in either the completion of their project or the date graduation.
