Cost for the Placement and Program Administration

(Prices effective for 2008 - 2009 school year only)

Application deadline is March 31, 2008 (or the approved extended deadline) for Late August departure

Cost for UK applicant

Program Application - $100
- Non refundable, due by March 31 or the approved extended deadline for fall 2008 placement

Registration and placement - $1150 (or $850 for spring departure) (50% off for the second person also apply for a teaching position as a married or engaged couple)
- First payment of $600 is due two weeks after the acceptance.
- Second payment of $550 (or $250 for spring departure) is due four weeks after the first payment due date..

This fee covers:
- our administrative cost for assisting you with job placement;
- 9 week on-line TEFL training course (May 12 - July 13, 2008);
- 6-day orientation program and accommodation in Shanghai (August 25 - 30, 2008);
- one year travel and medical insurance card; and
- travel assistance from your home city to your host school in China.

Total Program Costs including the application fee: $1250 (**$950 for spring placement)

**February/Spring placements are limited teaching positions open mainly to applicants with China living experience already or with former teaching experience. The total program cost for the placement only February 2008 departure including the application fee is $850. The 5-day Orientation Program in Shanghai and the online China TEFL training course are not available to the February departure participants.

Refund Policy If You Withdraw From the Program

$100 Application fee:
- Non-refundable

First payment:
- 40% Refund (Within 30 days after the payment was made)
- No Refund (After 30 days or if placement options are received)

Second payment:
- 50% Refund (Within 30 days after the payment was made)
- No Refund (After 30 days or if placement options are received)
