Sinopec Executive Business Training at Marshall University With the joint effort of the Center for International Programs (CIP) and the China Petroleum Corporation (SINOPEC), an Executive Business Training Program was founded in Summer, 2001 to provide intensive English and business trainings to selected SINOPEC managers and researchers here at Marshall University, USA. This program is firmly focused on studying business fundamentals such as marketing, entrepreneur leadership, international trade, human resources and etc. from a global point of view. The courses and seminars are conducted in small classes by professors from the College of Business and managers of neighboring industries. The program also provides many field-trip occasions in which these visiting scholars see real-world business operations and talk with corporate managers in USA. The understanding of the business knowledge will facilitate the visiting scholars in their future work in China. The first group, led by Mr.Wang Yuejie, participated this Program at Marshall University from Sept. 2001 to Jan. 2002. The group consists of sixteen young, knowledgeable and professional engineers and managers from many sub-branches of SINOPEC Corporation. Here are some scenarios of their life and study in USA:
