Graduate College Review

Please note: Your Thesis/D is not approved and submitted to ProQuest for publication until you receive a final approval email from the Graduate College.

A Graduate College reader will review your ETD for correct style and format for your discipline and for correct usage, grammar, and proper attribution of quoted material. If anything about your ETD needs to be changed before it can be approved, the Graduate College will return to you and your advisor via email a copy of your work with reader comments. Most manuscripts are submitted for review, returned, and resubmitted before approval. This process is of course largely under your control. If you follow our guide for submitting manuscripts, pay attention to the style guide in your discipline and attend to good grammar, the whole review process should be brief!

Important: This process can take as little as a few days, or as long as several weeks, depending on the edits that may be required and the number of ETDs waiting to be approved.
