The Survey of Earned Doctorates
Each student completing a doctoral degree at Marshall University should complete the Survey of Earned Doctorates.
The survey is available here:
https://sed.norc.org/doctorate/showRegister.do
Survey of Earned Doctorate information is used by a
number of government agencies to assess the state of
doctoral education in the U.S., and also to inform
their decisions concerning funding of U.S. graduate
institutions. The agencies that use this data are:
The National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Education, National Endowment for the Humanities, U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
We would appreciate it very much if you would submit this survey to provide better data for future graduate students!
