2008 Meeting Dates & Times To Be Announced

Marshall University is offering graduate ASL I, ASL II, and ASL III courses for those teachers in the state who are both interested in obtaining certification in this specialized area of emphasis and those teachers working on emergency certificates in need of coursework.  We are also offering undergraduate ASL I, ASL II, and ASL III courses for parents, teachers, and other professionals interested in acquiring signing skills.  These courses will be offered on the campus of the West Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind in Romney, WV for a two-week time period during the month of June.  Superintendent Jane McBride has so graciously offered free room and board to all those in need for both weeks of the course.  Students will be responsible for their meals.  Full kitchens are provided in the dormitories.

HOUSING INFORMATION

Rooms will be provided at NO cost to the student.  Students will be sleeping in the WVSD&B dormitories.  Women are scheduled to stay on the 2nd and/or 3rd floors of Seaton Hall.  Men have no specific room assignments to date.

Meals

There are full kitchens in the dormitories, feel free to bring groceries.  There are also several fast food restaurants and a few local restaurants for your convenience.
