 COHORT 2007

Writing Sample Instructions

A proctored writing sample is one of the application requirements for the Doctoral Education Programs at Marshall University Graduate College.  The writing samples for the Cohort Program will be given during the week of June 25 -29, 2007 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM; allow 90 minutes for this task. Please call Edna at 1-800-642-9842 ext. 68949 or, locally at 746-8949 to schedule.  If you prefer, we can arrange for you to use the computer lab at the Graduate College in South Charleston to complete your writing sample. 

  • Contact Edna at the scheduled time by calling 1-800-642-9842 ext. 68949, or locally at 746-8949, when you are ready to begin.

 

  •  Edna will email directions and three writing prompts, from which you will choose one. 

 

 

    • Edna will email a ten or fifteen minute alert if you are getting close to the 90 minute time limit

For writing samples taken outside the scheduled time period, contact Edna at the phone number above to make arrangements.
