Passport to the Word at the Model School gives our students the tools to understand the processes of world travel and the need to be citizens of the world. Students are empowered to shape their world as the next generation of global leaders in business, education, government, and the non-profit sector. The Passport to the World after school club focuses on visiting different countries around the world and visiting their languages, costumes, culture, people and places. Using written work as well as video, and even virtual trips; our students, parents, and staff are presented with different ways of life with deep historical, linguistic, ethnic, and religious roots and today's need for transnational cultures and multiple identities, fueled by the communication of ideas and the movement of people all around the world.
