Research Projects Involving Learning Disabilities and other Related Topics

Dear Student,

I have been asked to send you this request to volunteer for a dissertation research study looking at learning disabilities and giftedness. Below is a statement from Scott Terry who is the doctoral student conducting the research. It will provide you with more information about the research and the online survey tool used in the project.
If you agree to participate, very limited disability information will be shared with Mr. Terry. Specifically, McBurney staff will review disability test data on file at the McBurney Disability Resource Enter and use it for categorization purposes (either LD or gifted/LD). Your identity and personal information will not be disclosed in the research. Only the online survey results and the appropriate categorical information will be sent to Mr. Terry.
This study is voluntary. Choosing to not participating in this study will in not affect your services through the McBurney Center. If you do not want to participate in this study please disregard this email.
