Remedial H.E.L.P.

Remediation is that part of the H.E.L.P. Program that assists students in addressing basic skills deficits in reading, written expression, and math. Remediation may also focus on other areas of concern, such as study and test-taking skills, learning and memory strategies, time management, organization, etc. Students work in one-to-one sessions with a learning specialist, and each student can expect a remedial plan designed for his/her individual needs. Effective use of this part of the program does serve to improve the student's overall academic performance.
