I am currently studying
the presence/absence of the amphibian chytrid fungus in amphibian populations
throughout WV. Surveys are being conducted to sample
populations of amphibians of greatest conservation
need in the state.

gillnet surveys determining the health of Paddlefish populations in the
Allegheny and
Ohio Rivers in SW
Pennsylvania. Also, I was involved in
determining fish assemblages of the
Monongahela River and
its tributaries through the use of gillnets and through the use of backpack and
boat electrofishing.

in a variety of university lab activities including maintaining an
ornithological
specimen museum,
collecting and sorting macroinvertebrates, backpack electrofishing, data entry

pitfall
traps and drift fence
arrays.
