About
Me

I’ve lived in West Virginia all of my
life, and I’ve been interested in reptiles and amphibians since I was a very
small child. My interest in herps has only increased with age and I’m excited to
finally be a part of Dr. Pauley’s herpetology lab. I got my bachelor’s in environmental science
here at Marshall University. This allowed me to make early connections
with faculty members who have been tremendously helpful in my studies. I was also given several opportunities to
conduct my own research, which provided me with a great overall learning
experience. While my undergraduate
research was somewhat varied, each project I’ve worked on has contributed to my
current research in one way or another and I’ve greatly enjoyed working on my
thesis this past year.
