Opened in 1998, the facility melds a full
range of traditional library services with state-of-the-art computer and
advanced technological education facilities that include multimedia training and
presentation rooms, workstations, distance education and computer carrels. There
is a 24-hour reading room/computer lab with computer consultation stations and
assistive technology. The collection includes books, bound periodicals, and a
wide variety of media and Internet accessible electronic materials.

Rosanna
A. Blake Library of Confederate History
This is
a unique collection of books, journals, documents,
Confederate Imprints, and other materials dealing with the
history of Confederate States of America. The
holdings of the Blake Library are online.
West
Virginia Collection
The West Virginia Collection is a regional collection of
published materials that deals with West Virginia and surrounding states,
particularly Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky. The collection also emphasizes the
Appalachian Region, as well as the American Civil War. The collection includes books, journals, state documents,
newspapers, a vertical file of newspaper clippings and pamphlets, maps, phone
books, and microforms.
