Student Security Coordinator
Marshall University’s Department of Housing and Residence Life is pleased to announce the open position for Student Security Coordinator for the Spring 2013 semester. The Student Security Coordinator (SSC) is a paraprofessional position responsible for the overall administration and operation of the day and evening Student Security program. The SSC supervises a staff of 100-110 day and evening undergraduate and graduate staff members in order to create and facilitate a safe and secure environment for residence hall students. The position requires 20 work hours per week, with 10 of the 20 hours designated as Monday-Friday office hours.
The Student Security Coordinator receives an annual base stipend of $11,500 for 10 months, a partial graduate tuition waiver applicable to a student program (not including activity or online course fees), a furnished suite in the Commons residence halls, a board plan (when the dining halls are in operation), and office space.
