Buskirk Hall is a six story all female residence hall. Rooms come in double-occupancy and single deluxe. Each floor is equipped with a kitchen full functioning and updated range, sink, and refrigerator as well as a laundry room that either operates on coin or MU ID cards. Each room is equipped with Air Conditioning, basic cable, and high speed internet. Buskirk Hall is staffed by a Resident Director (RD) and 6 Resident Advisors (RA). The staff's main goals are to provide the residents with valuable information, create a positive community through educational programming, maintain a safe and high-quality living environment, and serve as a resource whenever a student has a question or concern. Holderby Hall is a nine story co-ed residence hall. All rooms in Holderby are non-air condition singles. Laundry rooms that either operates on coin or MU ID cards and have a vending machine and microwave are located on each floor. Recreation area located on the first floor lobby where residence can play ping-pong, pool, or just relax an watch TV. Each room is equipped with basic cable, and high speed internet. Rooms and bathrooms on the first floor offer additional special facilities for physically challenged male residents. Holderby Hall is staffed by a Resident Director (RD) and 9 Resident Advisors (RA). The First Year Residence Halls, North and South, are four story freshmen residence halls. The FY halls are co-ed by floor and house a total of 782 students in double occupancy rooms. Each building is equipped with a theater room, standard classroom, and apartments for faculty-in-residence and full time professional staff that live in the FY halls. Each building also has a kitchenette, recreation lounges, study lounges, and a pool table. Each room is equipped with heating/air conditioning, basic cable, high speed internet, and a private bathroom. The First Year Residence Halls are staffed by a professional staff comprised of a General Manager, two Assistant General Managers, an Office Coordinator, and two Maintenance employees. The FY halls also employ 22 Resident Advisors (RA's). The staff's main goals are to provide the residents with valuable information, create positive community through educational programming, maintain a safe and high-quality living environment, and serve as a resource whenever a student has a question or concern.
