Mail and Packages

Each resident is assigned a mailbox within his/her residence hall. All mail should be addressed to the student using the following address:

Marshall University has its own unique Zip Code 25755. U.S. Mail is delivered directly to the residence halls Monday through Saturday, when the residence halls are open. If you have any questions you can contact Housing and Residence Life at 304-696-6765 from 8:00 to 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday. 

If you are looking for mail from any other courier other than U.S. Postal Services you may need to contact the MU Receiving Department at 304-696-6678 .

Is there a Post Office on campus?

There is no post office on campus. The nearest post office is located at:

PACKAGE DELIVERY
Packages sent through U.S. Mail that require no signature will be delivered with the daily U.S. mail. If no receipt signature is required, the mail or package may be left in the residence hall on the day it is delivered. Packages will be available for student pickup during evening office hours.
Mail or packages that require a receipt signature may be delayed if the resident is not available when the delivery person attempts to deliver.

PERISHABLES
Perishables (i.e., flowers, refrigerated medications) should be sent only when prior arrangements with the residents have been made to arrange receipt.
