Duties: Administration of all academic programs and budgets with the College of Health Professions. Oversee a growing college of more than 13000 students as well as multidisciplinary programs and degrees including: clinical lab sciences, communication disorders, dietetics, nursing, and social work. The college also has several cooperative programs with Saint Mary's Medical Center including nursing, respiratory therapy, and medical imaging. Responsible for the development and operation of a variety of retention initiatives, activities related to curriculum, instruction, research, and academic achievements. Responsible for the fiscal management of the college budget and all aspects of personnel matters. Participation in fund raising and development activities is an expectation of the Dean's position.

Duties: Implement lesson plans and evaluation component which meets the overall goals and objectives of the NEP program; review, revise and prepare any written or experiential tools that are needed for execution of the lessons; present nutrition education workshops in eligible school; present nutrition education program to school health education teachers, coaches and students; conduct site visits to schools to review programs with teachers, nurses and athletic directors; adhere to policies and procedures of Marshall University. Maintain confidentiality of Marshall and school records, policies and procedures. Maintain security of all Marshall and school property.
