Integrated Science and Technology (ISAT) is
the newly developed program that is Marshall University's answer to the changing global
workplace. This innovative program provides an alternative to traditional studies in
science, technology, and engineering to meet the needs of today's employers. It
integrates faculty and subject matter from engineering, chemistry, physics, biological
sciences, mathematics, communication studies, English, management, and medicine into a
single degree program. As you progress through the program and select your field of
concentration in either Information Technology, Environmental Studies, Manufacturing, or
Biotechnology, you will focus on key scientific and technical fields that address the
critical socioeconomic demands of the next century. Graduates of the ISAT program
will be prepared to enter the work force, medical school, or other professional programs.
The ISAT faculty will provide the help you need to actively pursue further
education or employment opportunities.
