A collaborative project between Marshall and five other institutions to

Accomplished Teachers Project (AATP)
Designed to build upon the successes of the past and create new initiatives
to recruit and support National Board Certified Teachers (NBCT) on a statewide
and regional basis. AATP is technology

IBM Learning
Village
A technology-based initiative that links the WV Dept. of Education with
Marshall, where student teachers as well as veteran teachers, will learn
to use the IBM Learning Village, a new Web-based educational tools designed
to drive higher student achievement.

Project

Center for Rural Educational Research and Development
Housed in the College of Education and Human Services, the Center has many

Making
a Job
7th, 8th, and 9th grade teachers participate in this workshop designed to
bring entrepreneurship into the classroom through hands-on activities. The
workshop taught by the Lewis College of Business provides materials for
classroom implementation. 3 Graduate Credits. Tuition waivers are provided

Schools Project
A structured plan that allows the pre-service teacher, the K-12 teacher,
and professors of teacher education and arts and sciences to join
in a collaboration, via formation of professional development teams,

Project
MERIT-Mathematics Education Reform Initiative for Teachers
A five-year teacher enhancement project that continues and expands a prior
NSF project to address the established need of middle school mathematics
teachers to improve knowledge of the content of mathematics and how students
learn mathematics.
