Owner - (new definition as follows) the
person(s) ultimately responsible for the collection, maintenance, distribution,
and integrity of data associated with a major information component or module.
Also, the BOC
prepared a listing of Information Owners grouped by major information component
or module. These have been posted on the
following url:

This
document will most likely change after the rest of the Banner Community reviews
it, but not by much. I'm still working on a page for www.marshal.edu/banner/policy that
will include links to FERPA, Information Owners, etc., etc.
