Dr. Quintana was born in Spain. Her area of specialization is the Modern and Contemporary Spanish Literature and Short Story. Prior to joining the Marshall University faculty, she lived in Madrid where she taught. She has also worked for The Royal Academy of the Spanish Language carrying out linguistic research for a variety of projects.
